Evaporative dryer 30 t/h
This evaporative dryer was built in Hungary by DKG-EAST RT in 1995. The equipment was transported to Finland, where it was inspected by Finnish Inspecta in 1999. The original purpose of this equipment was to concentrate waste water solution from a molasses production process by evaporating water, but the system was never installed. The certified pressure for the equipment is max 2.0 bar, min -1.0 bar. The input heat for the evaporation comes from steam of 200 °C.
The equipment is suitable for similar purposes, concentrating waste water streams from various processes and thus reducing the amount of waste water to handle.
Capacity in molasses wash water evaporation:
Input of thin stillage: 30.0 t/h, 8.5 %
Output of product stillage: 3.54 t/h, 72 %
Steam input: 3.9 t/h, 200 °C, 11018 MJ/h
Heater 1. Nominal heat surface 512 m², actual heat surface 518 m². Max pressure 2.0/-1.0 bar. Calculation temperature 135/100 °C. Volume in pipe side 12.4 m³, coat side 9.2 m³. Material AISI 316 L, RSt 37.2.
Heater 2. Nominal and total heat surface 410 m². Max pressure 2.0/-1.0 bar. Calculation temperature 135/100 °C. Volume in pipe side 10.9 m³, coat side 8.1 m³. Material AISI 316 L, RSt 37.2.
